Adventures in Visegrad Region

A special block dedicated to potentials of non-traditional tourism in Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic realized with a financial support of the International Visegrad Fund.

In cooperation with the International Visegrad Fund we have prepared a series of special presentations through which foreign guests will present opportunities being offered in their homelands – Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.

Our goal is to introduce to you interesting tourist locations outside Slovakia in countries of our closest neighbors. Lot of us travel around the world searching for adventure, however, we will try to show you that you do not have to travel far for outdoor sports and quality, full-value experience.

Our guests will include a climber Eliza Kubarska from Poland, biker Tamás Kovács from Hungary and paddler Tomáš Garlík from the Czech Republic. Each of them will tell us not only about their successes and experiences but also about opportunities being offered in their countries to tourists, travelers and sportsmen – professional as well as less experienced. Valuable and practical tourist information almost as the first-hand will be appreciated also by those who think about where and how they would spend their active vacation – alone, with family and children or with friends.

We are excited that we have moved one step forward. Through film screening and presentations of our guests we mediate stories and experiences of others to you and besides all this we offer you also practical information and a chance to get inspiration about how and where to experience something interesting in countries of our neighbors.
