Presentation of the Hungarian biker about biking opportunities in Hungary.
A Hungarian mountain biker Tamás Kovács will tell us on Saturday afternoon about opportunities which Hungary offers to the cycling tourists. He will show and describe to the viewers some opportunities for the quality cycle tourism in his presentation. To those interested in participating in MTB races he will give advice about races taking place in Hungary.
In recent years cycling in Hungary has been dramatically developing according to words of Tamás. We believe that after his presentation we will include this geographically very close but for most of us still unknown “destination”, in category of countries which we should certainly visit. The presentation will tell us also about interesting biking routes in Budapest, around Balaton and Bükk hills.
Tamás Kovács
He was born in 1968 and he lives and works in Budapest. In 1992 he has started with mountain biking. He has ridden all the trails in surroundings of Budapest, many trails all around Hungary but also in Austria and in the USA. Thanks to our festival Tamás got to know also Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland, where during the last weekend in October he cooperated with the Slovak biker Pavol “Klokan” Chrenčík in conducting of the outdoor workshop Mountain terrain biking in the Polish Beskids.
Besides mountain biking he devotes himself also to running, kiteboarding and Bikram Yoga.
